All sensors, drop boxes, and other OnSite devices use a long range radio system to communicate with a gateway. This allows these devices to be up to 1 km away. Only one gateway is required to service any devices that are within range.
The gateway must be connected to the internet via wi-fi, or LAN cable.
Gateways typically plug into a standard wall outlet for power. A power cord is included.
Cell connected, solar powered, or battery backed up versions are also available
Use the app to add any sensor by scanning the QR code on the sensor label. You can then create alarm conditions using any sensor (PIR, vibration, or otherwise), or any combination of sensors.
To support software development, improvement, and ongoing server maintenance we need to charge a minimal yearly fee of $79 per gateway. To avoid yearly fees, unconnected gateways are available.
